beatfood is a new series of events started in Leeds that combines food and music.  We do a sit down communal dinner then follow it up with a loft party.  If you can't make the food you are welcome to join us for the party from 11pm. 

There is something special about a loft party.  You're in a beautiful space, it's not going to be there next week and you're in it with like minded people.  The DJs can play whatever they feel is right for the time and place and you can lose yourself in the music.  First named after The Loft, created by David Mancuso in the 1970s in New York, a good loft party should continue his legacy showing a respect for his beliefs and attitude.  We have that in mind each time we invoke the loft name. But music moves on and although we play some classics, often as re-edits, we also look to continue the quest for new bombs to drop.  

Our December Loft Parties will also be the very last on the top floor of Munro House.  So special indeed.
