Escape Pods - Keith Tucker
/Keith Tucker aka K-1 is the co-founder of AUX88 -the Detroit band that pioneered the electro bass sound from the city.
Keith Tucker is a prolific producer that makes techno as Optic Nerve and electro as Alien FM. Even after three decades in the game Keith has a relentless drive to make new music. Most recently Optic Nerve released ‘Uncharted’ on Jeff Mills iconic Axis Record label. Keith has also found time to collaborate as K1 with another Detroit legend Gerald Donald from dopplereffekt and also with Carl Finlow as CFKT.
Keith founded Direct Beat Classics and Puzzlebox Recordings, running the labels with a DIY ethic that involves everything from designing the music to releasing the music.
Keith also produces the K1 agenda series of films that offers studio production tips and tricks for aspiring artists.
