RiL032 Johnny Fiasco-Conduction (Cajual)

Johnny Fiasco is another unsung hero of house music.  I'm not saying he is unknown, as for those in the scene he is well known indeed.  Maybe it is just my perception as he is predominantly U.S based but he never played in Europe as much as some of his chi-town peers such as Derrick Carter or Mark Farina.  It was, in fact, alongside Farina that he first got a major residency in Chicago at the legendary Smart Bar way back in 1988. 'Conduction' first appeared in 1995 on a five track Cajual EP.  It was a slow burner at first but became a favourite at both back to basics and The Sub Club in Glasgow.  I must admit once again I haven't been totally true to the integrity of the basics mixes as I've used the recently released DJ T edit in the mix.  It was also re-released with a remixes from Mazi and Justin Long on Tonic Records and re-released with a better pressing in 2011 on French label P&D so there are numerous ways to get a copy on vinyl or digital. Conduction kicks in at the 27.30 mark on my Pleasure Rooms mix.
